作者简介

玛格丽特·卡诺凡（Margaret Canovant，1939-），英国政治理论家，毕业于剑桥大学，先后任教于兰开斯特大学（Lancaster University）和基尔大学（KeeleUniversity）。卡诺凡教授著述颇丰，尤以关于阿伦特的作品闻名，她为新近再版的阿伦特最重要的代表作《人的境况》一书撰写的导言，重申了阿伦特作为一位政治思想家的重要地位。除《阿伦特政治思想再释》外，她的主要著作还有《人民》（The People，2006）、《民族与政治理论》（Nationhood and Political Theory，1998）等。
