Twentieth Century-Fox. Before long she

seph Cotten, Claudette Colbert, and Bill
"Bojangles" Robinson.

the number one movie star of the nation
for four years in a row, from 1935
through 1938. Her winsome spirit

Mrs. Franklin D. Roosevelt to FBI direc-
tor J. Edgar Hoover and aviatrix Amelia
