斯科特·派克（Scott Peck）哈佛大学及凯斯西方保留大学医学博士。曾服务于陆军医疗部队，担任精神科开业医师。在一九八四年创办了团体激励文教基金会（Foundation for Com-munity Encouragement），提供心理专业指导，协助无数的组织建立真诚共识团体。著书、演讲不辍，是备受推崇的作家、思想家、精神科医师以及深具影响力的精神导师。
译者张定绮，祖籍江苏常熟，东海大学外文系毕业，台大外文研究所硕士，美国哥伦比亚大学东亚研究所、西雅图华盛顿大学比较文学研究所研究员。现任职《中国时报》、辅大翻译研究所讲师。翻译作品有《快乐，从心开始》、《最后的猫熊》、《与心灵对话》（由天下文化出版公司出版）等。
