北美印第安奥格拉拉苏族人，身兼猎人、战士、行医圣者多种角色，1863年生，卒于1950年。他九岁时因梦见如创世神话般伟大的灵视现象，借此获得治病和预言的力量；23岁那年参加表演圈赴芝加哥、纽约、英国等地演出麋鹿仪式；回到故土后经历1890年底惨烈的“伤膝河之役”。
