Peter Schimitzek于1949年出生于德国亚琛附近的小城Geilenkirchen。受到家庭的影响，他选择在肉食行业完成职业技能教育。在半工半读中他依然完成了高中教育，并顺利在Siegen大学获得了国民经济学和企业管理学的双硕士学位。在亚琛工大完成博弈论研究的博士学业后，他于1985年接管了 CSB-System International公司，并担任CEO至今。
