being pregnant from a book by Henry Miller. Henry described how he
would get on a bus and people would offer him a seat. He was so filled
with his book that it was obvious to people that he was with child. This
image stayed with me for many years and accurately tells you how I
felt about carrying this book within me.
So why listen to me and take the time to read this book? In fact???

CEO told me after a series of workshops at his company??? \"I heard a
lot of great things about your seminars. Sorry I couldn t attend??? I
didn t have the time.\"
In 1932??? the founder of IBM??? Tom Watson??? held the first Sales &
Marketing Executives Club meeting. An article called \"The Biggest
Problem Facing American Business Today: Time Management\" ap-
peared in the first newsletter. Not much has changed.
So why another book? Because this one is easy to understand
and to implement. Because this book will get you results??? guaran-
teed. Here s some background to help you know who I am and why
I believe I m in a position to be of great help to you in the pursuit
and achievement of your personal and professional goals.
In May of 19871 started my own business??? HUMAN RESOURCES
UNLIMITED. My specialties are giving keynote addresses??? giving
workshops on the challenges of success and workshops on the fun-
damentals of effective selling. Since starting my business I have met
and talked with thousands of sales and non-sales professionals.
Quite often my seminar participants tell me that of all the topics I
covered??? they enjoyed and got the most out of the sessions on goal
setting and time management.
When I got to the part of the workshop on goal setting and time
management I would noticeably change. My body language became
more powerful??? and my confidence would soar. I really leaned into
