作者简介

保罗·艾克曼，美国著名心理学家、全球首席识谎专家。

1934年出生于美国华盛顿。毕业于美国芝加哥大学和纽约大学，在加州大学旧金山分校的兰利波特精神病研究所临床实习一年；1958年，获纽约市阿德菲大学博士学位；1958～1960年，任职于新泽西州迪克斯堡美国陆军参谋部；1972年，任加州大学旧金山分校心理学教授至2004年退休；1991年，获美国心理学会颁发的杰出科学贡献奖，并被列入20世纪最有影响力的前100位心理学家名单。现居住在美国加州奥克兰市。

艾克曼教授主要研究脸部表情识别、情绪与人际欺骗。他的主要著作还有《解密脸部：从脸部线索识别情绪的指导》（1975年）《说谎：发现商场上、婚姻里及政治中的欺诈》（1985年）《孩子为什么说谎》（1992年）等。
