The project APTM is a CONSTRUMAT initiative whose objective was to research and facilitate the construction of affordable housing that responds to today's social needs. Directed by the architect Josep Bohigas, APTM proposes minimally sized, low-cost, sustainable housing built with quality materials. APTM presents six prototypes of ultra-compact apartments (30m2) by internationally acclaimed architects Anne Lacaton and Jean Philippe Vassal and Iaki balos and Juan Herreros, as well as by emerging architects Santiago Cirugeda and Gustau Gili, and by Sergio Garca, Jorge Corts, Borja Garca and Miquel Suau, award-winning students of the Habitcola competition.
