Mark Kingwell is Professor of Philosophy at the University of Toronto, a contributing editor of Harper's Magazine, and the critically acclaimed author of ten books. He teaches and writes frequently about philosophy, design and architecture, and pop culture, and has lectured to academic and popular audiences around the world. His books include Better Living: From Plato to Prozac and The World We Want. His latest book is Concrete Reveries: Consciousness and the City.
