Bella brings Lucy, the beagle, a sweater just like her own, and they become fast friends. Lucy learns from Bella that being bald is an adventure, and that what's on the inside a person is much more important than what's on the outside. They become partners in helping others by keeping their eyes and ears open, giving smiles, a gentle touch, any little gesture that can help another feel better.
