作者简介

A.爱德华·纽顿(1864－1940)，美国藏书家和书话作家。余暇以阅读、藏书自娱。屡次造访伦敦，多为购置心仪的古籍、手稿。 1918年，散文集《藏书之乐》问世，不但立即畅销，并成为同类著作之经典。此后他继续发表许多与藏书有关的文章并一一结集出版，广受读者欢迎。
